After the October breakfast at Two Brothers (10 members attended) several of us (6 in all) went to the Sheldon Nature Area to bird. We spent 2 1/2 hours birding there. We saw a Cooper's Hawk. a sedge wren, several yellow bellied sapsuckers, flickers, goldfinches, chickadees, cardinals, kinglets, 6 species of thrushes, yellow-rumped warblers, downy and hairy woodpeckers, blue jays, 3 species of sparrows, and a house wren and more.
Location: Fifteen-mile diameter area, center at the intersection of US 41 & 21, Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
